Is there any particular dish that you loathe to wash?

I hate dealing with our wok.  It's clumsy, does not fit in the sink, and always hard to get clean.

My clear glass coffee cups. My scrub brush is too big to get to the bottom of the glass to wipe out the remaining muck. I have to use the tip of kitchen towel to get it cleaned out.

Loathe? No. But crazy-making? Yes. I always try to use the plastic cutting board to cut meat, and not the wooden one. Because otherwise when I'm scrubbing the wooden cutting board, I'll think that tiny little bits of meat are still caught in all the grooves that have been carved into it over the years, and how that will go bad and rot and attract all sorts of AUGH!

Clearly I'm being completely reasonable here.

While I was living with Bevin and Johnny, one night she busted out the wok for some stir-fry.

I did dishes later that day, looked at the wok and thought, "Dear god this thing's covered with crap!"

I proceeded to scrub that m-f 'til it was *sparkling.*

Bevin managed not to kill me as she explained the wonderful concept of "seasoning."

Years later... Shana made abelskiver. Again, I did dishes, dutifully put everything in the dishwasher and set it to work.

Shana sprang up from a dead sleep to rescue her abelskiver pan from my horrific assault.

I've done more damage cleaning than breaking. ;)

I've never owned cast iron, which is why my wok is not "seasoned" either:)
